- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 egg yolks, well beaten
- 2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 3 egg whites, beaten with mixer until soft peaks form
- Preheat your favorite waffle iron
- Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt
- Combine beaten egg yolks and milk and in a large bowl with a wire whisk. Add flour mixture; stir until combined (don’t over-mix) Add melted butter. Fold in beaten egg whites
- Spoon batter into the waffle iron and cook!
